About the League
We believe in fair play and the transformation of strangers to neighbors through soccer.
Discussions about a soccer league by refugee and immigrant community members began in 2011 following the success of United Dashain Festival. With FaithAction International House the Triad International Soccer League organized several successful international tournaments with teams and players from all over the world. In November 2012, the City of Greensboro’s Department of Parks and Recreation agreed to sponsor the league, now renamed the Greensboro International Soccer League of the Triad.
